The Villanova basketball highlight honcho Sean Donovan is back with his biggest and baddest video yet. Named "Runnin' Wild" for its musical track, Sean's new video chronicles the entire 2007-2008 season, from the pre-conference games to the NCAA tournament.

There is only one way to watch this monster: in 720p HD. (Warning! 166 mb). On that version, the video is so pristine you can see individuals react to Dante Cunningham's game-winning put-back against LSU.

You can also watch the highlight video in the embedded YouTube player below.

Nice video!

Does anybody have any updates on the recruiting status of either Dominic Cheek or Terrell Vinson?

We're number one in the race for Dominic Cheek currently, given that Cheek and Maalik are close friends and Cheek has had a great campus visit.

As for Vinson, odds are he's a no-go. We already have a commitment from James Bell in 2010, so between him, Armwood, Stokes, and King we have too many wing players for Vinson to come here. He just wouldn't get any minutes.

The really intriguing thing is this: if Cheek commits does Aaric Murray follow in suit, giving us a recruiting class that looks a bit like this:

C: Aaric Murray (Rivals #35)
PF: Mouphtaou Yarou (Rivals #14)
SF: Isaiah Armwood (Rivals #62)
SG: Dominic Cheek (Rivals #16)
PG: Maalik Wayns (Rivals #25)

If Cheek comes here (and that seems like the most likely destination for him) he could get Murray to follow suit, giving us BY FAR the best recruiting class in the nation, and a ridiculously deep team built to last for as long as I'll be able to apply for the ticket lottery with my WildCard.

I just checked the espn 09 top classes, which has Villanova as number two in the nation behind Carolina. However, it stated that if we land Cheek or Murray, we will rise to #1. Although there have been many doubts about Wright's coaching abilities, he along with his staff have done an excellent job in planning for future seasons. In fact, Wright and his assistant Pat Chambers recently made the trip to Senegal to speak to the parents of Yarou in order to lock up his commitment.

Very good point about the possible future starting lineup recruited in the 09 class. According to espn, they are all top 35 prospects.
