Reports say that Casiem Drummond will transfer to Marist College. Good for him, we don't need his attitude or unathleticism here.

After following your blog during the Penn game I had to give you this for a little perspective. http://www.reclinergm.com/jay-wright-and-villanova-the-start-of-something-big/. You should probably never mention Malcolm Grant, Cassiem Drummond, Bilal Benn or anything of that nature again. Drummond is going to Marist, Benn went to some other team Nova played this year but i FORGET THE NAME, Grant we to Miami...I hope they suck. Saying there is a problem because these kids are transferring is ridiculous. http://collegebasketball.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=667122. Transfers are everywhere. Name a top program and you will find them on the list. It's what happens, to good and bad programs. You go where you can find minutes on the best possible team. That often times requires a transfer. Grant did well...no doubt. He did some really cool sh!t. The LSU game was awesome to watch. Then he was benched and the team struggled and I questioned why. Then I got over it and they went to the Sweet Sixteen which was WAYYYYY FKCING SWEETER and more important for the program than an early season win against a sh!tty team. They needed every game they won, but saying he won the LSU game so they owe Grant for any success they had last season is an outrageous comment. Stop it. Stop mentioning him or I will never visit this morbid Villanova site again. Cheer up @sshole...if you are a Villanova fan you are currently watching one of the best times in the history of the program. The potential for a Duke-esque program is there...and it all rides on Jay Wright staying with the program.

Zigger,

I agree that the transfers of Benn and Grant are just par for the course of a DI basketball program. The list you linked to of transfers shows how frequently students transfer from bad, good and great programs. Jay Wright has consistently made the right choices for Villanova basketball. I do not see any reason to question that Jay Wright made the correct choice by not playing, and subsequently losing to transfer, malcom grant. Benn really just is not that great of a college bball player, and Drummond is a story unto himself. Unfortunately the story of Drummond is shrowded in mystery to those outside the program, but from what rumors have begun circulating, its clear that there were significat issues off the court.

Pete,
I do not think we will be talking about the Malcom Grant LSU game for years to come, any more than we talk about beating UCLA with DSnow and G Buchs. While both were great Villanova BBall moments at the time, UCLA was over shadowed by the greatness of Foye/Lowry/Ray that was to come, and last years team and its accomplishments will be overshadowed by the next 3-4 years of Villanova Mens Basketball greatess.

Regards,
Dude who posts under random ex-villanova player's body parts, possesions and baggage handlers

On another note...the first link in my post was written by a guy named Pete. Naturally you should agree with all opinions he has made.
