'Nova-Clemson tips 9:50 p.m. Friday

Villanova vs. Clemson will begin about five minutes before the Memphis-Texas (Arlington) game, and should be "protected" in the Philadelphia CBS market. Outside of protected markets, CBS will air what it feels is the best game going on.
The 9:50 p.m. Villanova-Clemson start time means the game will have a larger potential audience than early afternoon games.

We needs tickets to the game. What's the best way to get them?
I don't know much about Clemson, are they known for a guard-led attack or do their forwards do the damage? It doesn't look like they are that deep of a team whereas Villanova has several go-to bench players we can bring in, so that seems to be one advantage at least. Anyone out there know about what some of the key match-ups will be in this game and what we need to do to win?

So, who SHOULD you pick for an upset, if you have to choose one? It's between George Mason/Notre Dame and Villanova/Clemson. To me, nobody is going to fool around with George Mason again, and I think Clemson might come in a bit over-confident after making the ACC Championship Game. So, I'd say Nova over Clemson. But a quick caveat is that you have to be careful about how the upsets that you pick will resonate in the future rounds. For reasons I'll get to later, you've almost got to pick Vandy to go out before the Sweet 16. So if you go with Nova then you're probably committing to putting a #12 seed through to the third round... are you prepared to do that? It probably depends on your bracket scoring system.
I have been among the most pessimistic Villanova fans this year, but even I won't say Villanova has NO CHANCE in this game. Anything can happen in this tournament.
Clemson is led by foward James Mays, who is very athletic. They also have Sykes and Booker up front who are very talented. As for guards I know that they have a small white gutn that can shoot threes lights out. They are more dominant in the post, so we need big defensive games out of Dante, Pena, and Anderson. (They would embarrass Clark because he is so unathletic.
However, I believe that if we can defeat Clemson, the Vandy game will be easier. The Sweet 16 is very possible, but Kansas will in all liklihood be too much for us to handle.
Yess, I'm meeting Jay Wright and the recruiting staff because they are coming to the NJ high school state tourney to scout.
we are 6 games from the 2008 national championship
and, we are gonna do to the tournament what malcolm grant did to LSU
yeah ok bosshog...lets just take care of clemson first..that is a tall order in and of itself..5 of their players avg double digits in points while only scottie and dante do for us.
Let's be optimistic, but more importantly.
LET'S GO NOVA!!!
This has nothing to do with Nova but is anyone excited about the fact Kansas and UNC could play it would be nice to see Kansas own UNC and see Roy Williams after the loss...
so glad its a late game, ill be able to watch! i just hope they dont switch us new englanders out like they did during the louisville(?) game! but being a big east fan like most of us, i realyl dont know much about clemson, and ive only watched them in the unc games. I do know we can beat them, as long as we play like we did against syracuse (the 3rd time) and NOT like georgetown.
catholic university, set up for good friday and easter games -- the lord will be with us?!?!?!?
